Man, DZ gossip travels FAST!!! LOL! I haven't gone to the DZ since before Florida.

You need to get out more. . .Sunday was a nice day for flying. . .a little gusty but nice. . .

I know, I know...it's not like me, but I need some alone time after the other Florida thing that I went through.

Hmmm...you would never guess by looking at those pics that some crazy pervert had tried to choke me to death the night before (1st set of pics), or that I had several consecutive sleepless nights afterwards, huh? (If you know me very well, you can tell that I have sleepy eyes in the close-up pic.)

Even with sleepy eyes you look hot girlie. . .Ed was looking for someone to do a couple of 2-ways or some tracking dives with. . .not much action on Sunday. . .mostly students and tandems. . .the weather report on the wind was bad and although it was bad in the morning, the afternoon was great and it wasn't as cold at altitude as the Sunday I made my first jump. . .yeah!

Hey girl....Check out this picture!

Make you want to come fly with us even more?!

First RW flight at the Perris Wind Tunnel! Can you name these players?

(as a videoflyer, if I saw their backs I could tell you there names in an instant! It's different seeing just their bellies!).

(no fair peeking at any other pictures on the web to give their I.D. away. Guess from just -this- picture! :P)

I'll start giving hints if you think it's too difficult.

If you've been at Perris for any length of time though, you really ought to be able to tell even just by looking at the fronts of the jumpsuits. ;)

No, don't give hints. What's it been....only a few minutes since the post? :P

I think most people can guess 2 of the 3 easily. It's a bonus if they can get the 3rd (without cheating). Beer at the Bombshelter for the first one who can get the 3rd one right. A pitcher if they know their last name as well!

Ohhhh Lori! That is soooooo cool!!! I want to go play, too!

Dan B.C. sent me an e-mail about the tunnel being just about ready for use as I had been in contact with him regarding possible coaching. I just need to save up $$$. I haven't even jumped since before I went to Florida, but I am so excited after seeing these pics...maybe I can make it to Perris sooner than planned! B| After having gone to Florida's tunnel once, any tunnel talk makes me drool...

Thought it might. I haven't flown in a SkyVenture tunnel but I think it -must- be like a drug once you've had the experience.

Yes, it really is like crack for skydiver, although I have never tried "crack"! It is the most exhilarating part of the skydive (for many) concentrated and placed into an extended format. The flying last for such a nice chunk of time that it almost feels sinful!

Is that Dan B.C. in the black? Melanie C. in the middle? Sorry that I don't know everyone, but Perris is not my home DZ. :$ :)

Yep! 2 of 3 ain't bad, girl! B|

Anybody have guesses for the 3rd?

ltdiver

That too easy. And I'm not even a "regular" out at Perris. Maybe it's because the third is from my neck of the woods.

drum roll please

The third would be John Peschio. That Mel is one smart gal, getting her new husband in the tunnel to enjoy the time with her.

I'll collect my beer from ya the next time I'm out there.

Drum roll indeed! B| The Trio

I'll have your beer cold and waiting when you make it out to Perris next time.

Are you coming out this month for the big-ways?

You may have to hang on to that beer for awhile. Not sure when I'll be out there again.

:( Not attending the big ways this month, thinking of heading to Eloy after Christmas instead. So much to do, so little time.

Here's some pics, finally posted to the site. This is a great bonus that tunnelcamp offers, especially if you don't bring your own camera. We are NSL#8.

Still waiting for the last few rows to be available other than thumbnails. (all are Hawksuits by the way)

I've got a better idea. I'd like to hear about that freefly camp and see pictures of that. It sounds like a good idea and I'm considering spending some of the April tunnel trip getting some coaching. Feedback would be appreciated.
