coconutmonkey 0 #1 December 24, 2003 Tried to do a search but came up with nothing. KNow we had this discussion a while back, but cannot find it. The American Airlines site doesn't have anything to help. Flying out Friday to Eloy and would be nice to have a copy if it exists.Hearts & Minds 2 to the Heart- 1 to the Mind- Home of the Coconut Lounge, Spa, & Artillery Range
NightJumper 0 #2 December 24, 2003 Couldn't find AA's link, but I found this http://www.tsa.gov/public/interapp/editorial/editorial_1147.xml Hope this helps. The USPA and the TSA suggest that you print a copy and have it with you.
Aviatrr 0 #3 December 25, 2003 Don't worry about the specific airline. If your rig is in a bag, nobody will have any clue what it is when you take it on the airplane. If they know what it is, they are probably a skydiver themselves, and know it's not dangerous. Don't ask, don't tell. Print the TSA thing, though.....the only problem you may have is taking the rig through security. I'm flying out of Orlando tomorrow on AA, thru Dallas. If you really want to know how it goes with the airline itself(though I don't expect any problems at all), call me on my cell phone tomorrow after 1600 - number is on the DD list.
