kai2k1 0 #2 December 23, 2003 I do, hopefully it will be a smooth day. There's no truer sense of flying than sky diving," Scott Cowan
SpeedRacer 1 #3 December 23, 2003 well, I think a lot of people work on Christmas Eve. It's not an official holiday. Hopefully for me it won't be 10 hours, but it's happened before. My boss is this Japanese work-aholic who hates weekends and holidays. Actually he just comes in & continues working. Seriously. I sometimes will tell him about my skydiving, hiking, beer brewing, festivals attended, theatrer, concerts (or whatever) that I did over the weekend. And I'll ask him what he did over the weekend and he'll say, "I came in & worked!" ...well, I guess he'll go further in his career than I will, but I just could never be like that. SkydiveNFlorida 0 #4 December 23, 2003 I will be working. I hope to get out by 7pm. I hear ya, man. Luckily, I think they let more of the programmers and users out early on xmas eve, too... so, hopefully I won't get to many "my program needs more time" "please run screwed up job 50 times in a row" "since you'll be here, can you (fill in the blank)" Angela. They are going to try to give us Christmas day off (well until about 8pm) but no promises on that if they have trains they have to run.------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
