Just wanted to pass the news on that I just bought a sugar glider and he is sooooooo cute!!!!! he is only a few weeks old and has already glided to me from several feet away. more to come later Oh about Mr ferret.. Still haen't gotten any retribution on his being stolen/given away/sold. I hope karma is doing its jobLeroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio... SkydiveNFlorida 0 #4 December 23, 2003 Gliders are awesome! Hope you have a good vet and have done your research. It is so fun feeding them fruit, and holding them close to you. So soft:) Congrads! Angela.
Pammi 0 #5 December 23, 2003 I wanna see pics! I'd love to have one, but I think Merrick would kill me. We're a bit overrun as it is with pets Pammi
dove 0 #6 December 23, 2003 QuoteI sure hope its a girl..... Is the "it" you are referring to the owner of the ass or the sugar glider? Fall in dove.
McDuck 0 #7 December 23, 2003 I saw one in a pet store once, and he was a menace. All he did was chitter in rage at anyone who ventured near his cage. Oh, and he hid inside his nest 90% of the time, according to the owner. Yours must be more socially oriented. SkydiveNFlorida 0 #8 December 23, 2003 This is because the glider was not handled enough when it was young. His is a baby, if he handles it often and gives it love, it will not be a mean pet at all. They actually make very cool little pets, they just require a lot of food variety and exercise to stay healthy. :) Angela.
JadedLady 0 #9 December 23, 2003 That is so awesome! I just recently convinced my roommate to let me get one. The only problem is finding a breeder. I definitely don't plan on getting one from a pet store. I also want to be sure I am very well prepared before I get a pet that I have never dealt with before. (I have had almost all... yes, even a ferret!) ::grin::~~~~ Rachel ~~~~~~~~~~~ -Converting the world one whuffo at a time.
