juanesky 0 #26 December 20, 2003 The issue in Venezuela, is the lack of continous water supply, all over the place. Water gets shut off constantly, thus people store it quite often. How was your trip to Venezuela? Did you go to Margarita Island?...."According to some of the conservatives here, it sounds like it's fine to beat your wide - as long as she had it coming." -Billvon
FrancoR 0 #27 December 20, 2003 Interesting post. I have a "Hochspüler" myself and i have been using "Hochpülers" for a long time since i live in germany. Most of the problems you described are true, but not as severe as you described them, at least for me. I will go for a "Tiefspüler" next time i buy a bowl. The picture shows another variant of a toilet. DON'T LOOK AT THE PICTURE IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT.If it does not cost anything you are the product. MrBester 0 #28 December 20, 2003 Quote Interesting post. Indeed. For better understanding see attached pics. I think the correct term for "Hochspüler" is "Flachspüler" (oh mann, bin ich ein Klugscheißer). BTW I am a proud owner of a Tiefspüler and won't ever tolerate living in a Flachspüler-equipped environment.

How was your trip to Venezuela? Did you go to Margarita Island?.... yea... thats what they told us, but we never had issues w/ no water. my trip was welllll memorable. I did go to Isla de Margarita, but did not enjoy much of my stay. I got sick, a summer flu I think, plus then a bit of the touist sick (which sparked my posting on this shitty thread), and had my luggage broken into and camera gear stolen. its a beautiful place, but very difficult to acclimatize to. I wish I had, had some better contacts to help me "get around".Goddam dirty hippies piss me off! ~GFD "What do I get for closing your rig?" ~ me "Anything you want." ~ female skydiver Mohoso Rodriguez #

PM me, The idea is to be set in Margarita, and go to Canaima (Where Angel Falls is) for a 4-5 days expedition."According to some of the conservatives here, it sounds like it's fine to beat your wide - as long as she had it coming." -Billvon
Dougjumper 0 #32 December 23, 2003 Quote It is not hygienic - the smell is ungodly. The only conceivable explanation is that Germans love to inspect their stool, so the German toilet of necessity features a built-in stool inspection shelf. Ha..ha..yep..I can back you up on that..spent 4 years in Germany..and damn..those Bathrooms STINK... The piping even sucks..seem to plug up to much.... They need new piping technology..man..
