hawkflight 0 #1 December 22, 2003 Well yesterday was a beautiful day weather wise at my DZ...I'm just a student but am dying to progress quickly so I decided to jump every wekend until I get my license.......all of a sudden I realized it was Dec. 21 and I had not bought ANY...and I mean ANY Christmas presents for anyone and I have four daughters.....So it was either take the whole day and go shopping or say screw it and go jump........I wish I had jumped.....well there is always next weekend but it will probably not be as nice.....I must be hooked...even Christmas can't hold a candle to skydiving.......But I'm a Dad first and my girls sure think alot more of Christmas then Dad jumping outta planes......................................... Paige 0 #3 December 22, 2003 Just think of who's dissapointment would be greater: Yours because you didn't get to jump or... Your 4 daughters because they didn't have a Christmas present under the tree from Santa or Dad? (Yes, I know the holidays aren't always about gifts but when you are a little tyke, it is one of the best parts that you look forward to) I think you made the right choice on X-mas day will far outlast the joy from one skydive. Skydives are nice but holidays are an important time of year for family to bond.Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com
sdgregory 0 #4 December 22, 2003 I am thinking there should not even be a dilemma. At least you made the right decision. Oh wait . . . I spent my kids' christmas money on a new rig. Shutting up now PS J/K

hawkflight 0 #6 December 22, 2003 Thanks for thinking of me.....I struggled with the decision until the last minute .....But the angel pushed the devil off my shoulder and then it became obvious what the right thing to do was.... I will defienetly be there next weekend weather permitting....I asked the girls and they said next weekend would be fine with them......so I even have their permission my kids are very cool................................ tunaplanet 0 #12 December 23, 2003 This is a no-brainer. Go jump all you want and put some grilled-cheese sandwiches in a paper bag under the tree for the girls. See? Everyone's happy! Forty-two
jumpinjackflash 0 #13 December 23, 2003 I did exactly the same thing, and though I love my babies more than life itself... Somehow I feel all "empty" inside! Got em some cool gifts though, and they will smile when they see them!!! Peace to you, JackIt's a gas, gas, gas...
