Pick 0 #10 December 21, 2003 QuoteI'm not going to say how cold an MF is, because I'm in GA, so cold to me is tropical to others! Kelly It was cold enough today in GA. I spent the day at the Newnan airport and didn't get to fly OR jump (Newnan isn't a DZ).......and it was a great day for either........no clouds, light winds, unlimited visibility.......just cold. (ice and everything........in GA, that's cause for panic.)

MikeJD 0 #14 December 22, 2003 Hey, not to diss you Georgia jumpers - i'm sure it was a little chilly - but you really want to experience the hardships of a British winter. Last year before the first load we spent half an hour melting the ice in the runner for the hangar door just so we could get the Beaver out. Then we spent another few minutes thawing out the wheels on the plane so we could push it out of the hangar. Then we went skydiving...
kelel01 1 #15 December 22, 2003 Hell, I'm considering moving to Miami to escape the "harsh GA winter". So, screw all of this ice jumping shit. I may jump out of airplanes on occasion, but I ain't crazy. Kelly
vonSanta 0 #16 December 22, 2003 Aww, c'mon! Once I figured out my nose doesn't get so cold if I'm in a sit instead of on my belly, it was quite enjoyable. Still gotta work out a way to pack with numb fingers though . And the nipples thing you mentioned...definitely a plus. That said, can't wait for summer. Today was the first jumpable day in 8 weeks. A wee bit too long for my taste. Santa Von GrossenArsch I only come in one flavour ohwaitthatcanbemisunderst
