Mmmmm.....Yummy cookies!

By now, I think you've all figured out I love chocolate but I don't like to cook or bake. I found a happy compromise! "Good Housekeeping" gave these cookies a 5 star rating, so I decided to give them a try. They are delicious, taste homemade and my kids just told me they'd never be able to tell that I didn't bake them myself. They are called, "Nestle Toll House Ultimates" and are sold in the refrigerated section by the biscuits. All you do is break them off on the pre-scored lines and pop them in the oven. We tried the Chocolate Chip Lovers (with 3 kinds of chips!) and the White Chocolate Macadamia. They're a bit pricey at $2.79 on sale for 12 big cookies, and high in fat at 200 calories and 10 grams of fat per cookie, but they're good for a splurge.

Sometimes the expensive price is worth not having to hassle with the mixing etc. Glad you found some good stuff. Lord knows i'm a cookie fanatic!!

I love the white chocolate macadamia...those are the best~~~
I always bake Christmas cookies....tomorrow it's gingerbread men and it's a pain in the ass but the girls love it..

Plz tell me that you would never buy that ....ugh precooked/microwaved bacon...because...that just wouldnt be right

Its ok to degrade the making of cookies by using the slice and bake kind...hell ..martha steward makes cookies..............BUT.....bacon is not to be made quick and easy....being splattered with hot grease is a penance we all must pay for the priviliage of enjoying bacon.

I have come up with an equally easy solution. My girlfriend is tasked to produce me cookies each weekend when she comes over. The result is excellent with decent cookies to eat at the dz. Would bring some over to Eloy but they don't travel well (I'd eat them long before the plane landed - or even took off) If anyone has recipes that she should try to IMPROVE my cookies please PM vt1977 with suggestions

All the break-n-bake cookies I have tried taste homemade. So you really can't go wrong, good thing cause I hate to bake too.

Aparently they make one huge cookie cake that you can decorate with icing and enjoy. I haven't tried those yet but cookies cakes are always good and inexpensive for B-days, etc. Who doesn't like warm chocolate chip cookies?!?!?! If you don't, you're just plain crazy.
