alanab 0 #1 December 11, 2003 ok, so i've been wanting to post this for a few days now. i know its a nasty subject, but i gotta get some info from you all! besides for the brushing your teeth before you go to bed and using that pm toothpaste and listerine, and brushing as soon as you wake up... how the hell can one avoid morning breath? it has to be one of the worst parts about waking up in the morning. if you have a SO and want to get frisky when you wake up, theres nothing worse than the dreaded morning breath. so i am asking if any of you out there have conquered it or have any tips to fight it. i'm sure everyone can benefit from answers to this question. thanks for your help:)
grega 0 #2 December 11, 2003 Don't eat at least 4 hours before you go to sleep. And drink a glass or two of water before you go to sleep too. Helps with the taste in the mouth too. I hate when i wake up with some yucky taste in my mouth..."George just lucky i guess!"
cliffharris 0 #3 December 11, 2003 I do have a friend that installed one of those dentists sinks next to his bed so he could just role over brush and spit without getting up. Personally, I just pull a condom over my head and go for it!
turtlespeed 221 #4 December 11, 2003 That is what that Binaca and Fresh Breath stuff is for. Just keep a little sprayer or a little drop bottle next to the bed. Those listerine dissolving papers are great too.I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
Jayruss 0 #5 December 11, 2003 ah I've had the frisky feeling interrupted by "lets go brush our teeth" then just hop back in bed __________________________________________________ "Beware how you take away hope from another human being." -Oliver Wendell Holmes
Muenkel 0 #6 December 11, 2003 Don't worry Alana, morning wood doesn't go away really fast. There's time for a good brushing and gargling. And should the morning wood disappear, it'll come back...trust me. _________________________________________ Chris
skymama 37 #7 December 11, 2003 I just read in People that Dustin Hoffman eats a chocolate before he goes to bed so he wakes up with chocolate breath! I wonder if that actually works. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

lawrocket 3 #9 December 11, 2003 Morning breath is terrible. I've actually foudn that my morning breath is worse when I brush my teeth immediately before going to bed. Normally I brush around 9:00 or so. It led me to thinking that perhaps the toothpaste manufacturers, in order to sell more toothpaste, add something to it where it will lead to God-awful foulness after a few hours. I honestly wouldn't doubt it. by the way, Muenkel is right about morning wood. And, if lost, can be quickly returned. Brushing teeth even eliminates the need for the occasional Altoid. bkdice 0 #12 December 11, 2003 I don't have an answer for you - but a suggestion... Keep a pack of those listerine pocket packs by your bed. When you wake up, pop one in your mouth and instant fresh breath.
 chopchop 0 #13 December 11, 2003 I don't understand..
