IamAdam 0 #1 December 6, 2003 This is normally a rude question, but the poll is totally anonymous, so I figure why not. Skydiving is definitely an expensive sport, and I'm just curious as to how my income stacks up against the typical jumper.
bmoore21184 0 #2 December 6, 2003 I am just a poor student, but hey I do get paid to go to school. Even though it is next to nothing I can't complain. B Moore 'Turbulence is a bitch'

gmanpilot 0 #7 December 6, 2003 Pretty interesting poll. With almost 1/3 of the respondents making over 70K, I would venture to guess that the results are anecdotal, and not representative of the general skydiving population. Don't let the dz owners see this, they might feel compelled to increase jump ticket prices!_________________________________________ -There's always free cheese in a mouse trap. marcandalysse 0 #9 December 6, 2003 Maybe the better question is: "How much do you SPEND on skydiving a year?"

vonSanta 0 #12 December 6, 2003 I hate tgis question. One thing I loved about the skydiving community (at least in Denmark) was that it was a non issue. As was "what do yuo do for a living". I'm going back to study again so I earn nada btw, but that's beside the point. Now someone has taken the "how much do you make" question and polluted the wonderful skydiving world! Agh! kallend 2,104 #16 December 7, 2003 Since you're going in $15k increments, I suggest you add at least another 6 categories at the top end. You have clearly lumped all the people with real jobs into the $70k+ group.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one. FallinWoman 1 #17 December 8, 2003 QuoteYou have clearly lumped all the people with real jobs into the $70k+ group. So....as a teacher who makes $40,000ish a year...I don't have a real job? TribalTalon 0 #19 December 8, 2003 i make about 15 a year, but i'm a full time college student, but i dont have to pay for school. skydiving is cheap, AFF is EXPENSIVE. lol.
RoysPlayThing 0 #20 December 8, 2003 I was surprised to see that many skydivers don't make the higher scale of cash flow. Goes to show that skydivers (or any sport enthusiast) can do anything they dream, no matter their income. _______________________________________________ My mind is like a parachute...it functions only when open.
