If you are talking about the gliders, they are called ZAGIs, I bought one for my kid, they are pretty cheap and really cool. You can put a small electric motor on them and they really haul ass.

Hey, cool! I looked at the website and they have the zagi 5c combo and it is supposed to be able to crash and live. Can you take a look for me? It is a combo, I want to make sure it has everything he needs to fly the thing. It is for my little cousin, he's 12.

www.zagi.com under combos, last one.

Thanks!!
Angela.

My father and brother built a glider and flew it once. We also had a Wild Willy and Grasshopper r/c cars. They got much more use until they hit one too many walls. :S

There are many brands but the ZAGI's started it. We have a ton of small entrepreneural upstart combat wing makers all over SoCal. Mostly selling to others on their hills or via the net. An ultralight pilot guy at Perris makes and markets his own brand. He's got his all loaded up with multiple blinking LEDs and dive bombs all the big outdoor night parties. Very nice!

Do a search on SPAD, (simple Plastic aircraft design) which is basically a $5 airplane with a $50 remote, so if you smash it to bits somehow (theyre made out of those signs that politicians use to get reelected-so If your crafty and have sticky fingers you could build one for almost free) and some aluminum U channel. I'd build one but I dont have anywhere to fly it.

You can put an "E" or "F" rocket motor on them too.

How hard are these these things to build. With little to no kit building knowlege?

ALmost no building knowledge required, but a basic concept of radio control systems will help.

They look easier to fly than they are.
