turtlespeed 221 #26 December 3, 2003 QuoteIt's hard to narrow it down to just five, but we do what we have to... So, what do you guys think? While they're all good movies, I'd have a hard time falling asleep at night if I didn't vote Its A Wonderful Life. quade 4 #27 December 3, 2003 So, uh, how much money do you think it takes to make, market and distribute a movie? Well, they weren't really saying, but estimates were between $10M and $20M just to make it and they only pulled in $24 at the Box. The Studio doesn't get all of that since the theaters have to make money too. Big Idea the makers of VeggieTales went bankrupt as a result of the Jonah movie. http://p04.parachutemusic.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3583 The products still exist as a result of a bankruptcy sale, but no, they weren't exactly laughing all the way to the bank.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
kai2k1 0 #28 December 3, 2003 Definitely a Christmas story. I always wanted one of those BB guns. But my Favorite is White Christmas with Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye. There's no truer sense of flying than sky diving," Scott Cowan
jb092 0 #29 December 3, 2003 A Christmas Story by far is the best in my opinion. You gotta love it when a cable station runs it 24 hours straight on x-mass What could possibly go wrong?

ACMESkydiver 0 #33 December 3, 2003 Ralphie actually shot himself in the glasses and they broke...then he had to lie and tell his mom that an icicle fell off the house and broke his glasses, otherwise she would have been right about not wanting to give him the BB gun 'cause he'd shoot his eye out... >sigh< Childhood drama...but it was cute!~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. Sheenster303 0 #34 December 3, 2003 A Christmas Story gets on my last nerve! I might watch it one time each Christmas season, but the cable station that plays it 24/7 should be taken off the air for that! "You'll shoot your eye out!" Come on! How is that not annoying to you?!I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #
Sebazz1 2 #35 December 3, 2003 I would have voted for Dr. Suesse "The Grinch who Stole Christmas" with J. Carrey.

Sheenster303 0 #37 December 3, 2003 I saw the cartoon version of the Grinch for the first time since I was five last night. It made me very upset at first to see how mean he was. But then I became happy at the end. I loved it! Now, I must watch it again tonight on the Cartoon Network.I'm so funny I crack my head open! Kramer 0 #38 December 3, 2003 QuoteWhat ever happened to the kid that shot himself in the eye? He basically fizzled out after A Christmas Story. He's been in like ten B-Movies in the past 15 years, none of which I've heard of or seen. More info here. -Kramer The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!! They made the 20 million to self finance the movie, that's pretty good. All they did was choose to gain financial support. That doesn't mean they didn't make good money off their video sales, they went bankrupt by putting all their eggs in one basket. __________________________________________________ "Beware how you take away hope from another human being." -Oliver Wendell Holmes
