Frodo 0 #1 September 1, 2003 If you have ever bought a tee from Xtreme Rags, have you encountered any problems? It's been more than 2 weeks since I placed my order, and they were quick to take money off my card, but not so quick in delivering or answering emails. Now I'm calling the number they placed on the website (note: no address info), but it says the number's not in service... *sniff-sniff* Kinda suspicious methinks. Ahh... probably should've called them beforehand. Will be a lesson for me, in case this is a fraud.
Frodo 0 #2 December 2, 2003 It's been a looong time since I ordered that tee... They're still 'under construction' or whatever. I'm still not getting any reaction to my emails. I don't really know what to do here. What do yall think? Should I take some kind of legal action against the guy to whom the website belongs? Should I talk to my bank and try to, what, get my money back? Or just wait until they (xtremerags) "reopen"? It's not that big of a deal moneywise, only around $20, but still - my credit card info is out there somewhere... I'm kinda lost and idle here.

If it was a bank card i don't know how your bank works, if it was a major credit card you can call and refuse the charge.. a lot of banks allow you to do this as well i'd do that or you could try calling this guy: Thomas Hewitt, (919) 493-4410, 3908 Northampton Rd, Durham, NC 27707 not sure if it is the same thomas hewitt, durham & sanford are about an hour away - that is the name on the domain, same area code. DShiznit 0 #4 December 2, 2003 Mail Order Rule states that they cannot bill you for purchased goods until they have been shipped. If they are billing before shipping, that is illegal.
Lee03 0 #5 December 2, 2003 Note to self.. do not order Tee-shirts from Xtream Rags! Hate to say it.. but sounds like you may have gotten scammed. I'd call the bank and see if they can trace where the money went when Xtream withdrew it off you card. Don't know if they can do that or not, but worth a try. Yeah, legal action might be good, if you can find where they went. Good luck.-------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule
