Taz 0 #4 November 28, 2003 I feel as though I will never walk again because I am so full. I am about to enter a sustained food coma and will be unable to eat for another 24 hours without exploding. AndyMan 7 #8 November 28, 2003 Thanksgiving was just right. Me and craichead couldn't travel, so we stayed home. At first I was a bit aprehensive about not seeing the family, but eventually it dawned on me that this was our opportunity to start our own traditions. It felt kinda silly to do a turkey for two people, so instead I got creative... We had pork chops stuffed with cranberries and apples, topped with a bourbon cream sauce. Not exactly a typical thanksgiving dinner, but I tried to make it distinctively american. Served alongside was roasted potatoes, a salad, and a pumpkin pie with butter pecan icecream to finish. It was yummy. Also a nice red zin to quash our thirst... We dined by candle-light in our PJ's. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
Sheenster303 0 #9 November 28, 2003 I didn't eat a lot at all, but I got full really quick and couldn't eat half the food on my plate, even though I hadn't eaten anything the whole day and I didn't eat until around 4:30. I sat on the couch and couldn't move for 45 minutes after I ate. I was sooo full. I still am full from yesterday and it's been almost 24 hours since I've eaten. I'm thinkin that they're might be something wrong with my body....I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #

jfields 0 #11 November 28, 2003 Honestly Andy, your concept sounds a lot better than the typical huge family affair with all the associated minor familial traumas. I think you made some excellent decisions, both in food and with your overall approach.
