dterrick 0 #1 November 27, 2003 Day 1. Damn, self employment was good! I guess it still is as I haven't yet sold my very modest investment practise. It's just that, as of today, for 'regular office hours' my body is contracted to a large grocery retailer as an accountant. Beer. I've been self-employed in the investment industry since I completed University in 1991. Not since my university bank job have I worked to a normal schedule since - hence the cyberbeer. And now, in a vain attempt to pay my regular bills andskydive I will do both. Oh, yes, and I will also be continuing my CGA (CPA) evening courses. Hmmmmm.... Did I mention that I have no link to the outside world during business hours? So much for mid-morning philosophiparachutical discussions . The good news is that summertime has only small demands both on school and the investment practice. This means more jumping So there. I guess selling my soul was worth it. Right? ...RIGHT? ....
