Sneak in to the office and pour ELAX into the coffee grounds (use chocolete), then go into the stalls in the bathroom and lock them from the inside and crawl underneith the doors. Do the same for the ladies!

Piece of advice my friend. Don't ever burn bridges. You might need a recomendation for another job from this company/boss. Or.. what if, in the future, you might want to go back to work for this company? Better just to let it go man! Yeah, it was shitrty the way they did you.. but just keep on marching..forget about the.. something lies ahead better for you! good luck.

There was a guy in my old office who went on long-term disability after the short-term expired. My company wasn't able to back-fill his position. You don't get LTD? In Massachusetts?

Either way, I probably wouldn't be tinkering with anything re: the job posting. Even if you meant fun by it.

What sucks is that it will likely take him another month to find someone, plus another 7-14 after that. By then, it will have been 6 weeks. Too bad he can't think that far ahead and rough it out longer.

Then again, with the job market starting a notable positive trend, you might be able to get something better? What do you do anyway?

I know I don't always come off as the most conservative person here but I have to say, Chris, harming others never pays off.. Never. Leave it alone and focus on positives. As others have said.. don't burn the bridge. You may need it someday.

cruelest thing I did to my old boss was quit.

within three weeks, both leasing agents quit, three maintenence guys quit, and the assistant manager put in notice.

Out of everyone who leased, I had 48 new leases, and the next closest person had seven. Of course, this meant that I had seven times more work than the next guy, and didn't get paid much more, because the ass of a supervisor I had would take away our commission for something as stupid as a typo in the file. (he thought if he didn't pay us as much, it made his bottom line look better... what he was actually doing was taking away our incentive to lease, so he actually made LESS than if he'd have paid us like he was supposed to). The jerk also violated so many fair housing laws that if the dept of HUD found out, he'd be in so much shit....

within a month, 8 out of 13 staff members quit. And gee... corporate wondered WHY... and made a couple of phone calls to former employees...

I just found out the old boss has now reinlisted in the Navy and is currently swabbing decks (or something equally demeaning) on a ship bound for the middle east. He was fired for violating fair housing laws and for a "lack of managerial skills"

We didn't have to go out of our way to make trouble for him. We just took reasonable actions to remove ourselves from the situation, and his actions came back to bite him in the ass.

ultimate revenge.. get a paint scraper kind used to screape paint or wallpaper of a wall then goto bosses car and slide it between the window on the door and the rubber seal then squish about 3 shrimps/prawns into the actual doorframe of the car clean n wipe up mess.. in few days the smell is unbearable specially here in florida u can clean the car try everything but unless u replace the door u will never get rid of the smell...
