Skydive Arizona Weather Statistics
The following indicates the average hottest and coolest weather within a 24-hour period, averaged over the month.

The Sonoran Desert region has two distinct rainy seasons. One falls from mid December through mid February and typically involves slow moving systems that will bring rain and clouds for a day and a half to three days. The other rainy season is in July and August, when thunderstorms appear two or three afternoons a week. April through June is the driest time of the year, although two or three days a month may be partially lost due to winds.

Humidity is very low year round. A 95 degree day in the desert at 20% humidity feels like 93 degrees, but at the east coast humidity of 80% would feel like136 degrees. And in that kind of humidity, you often can't see to fly!

Is that like an artic bathing suit?

Floridians who have been here for awhile get cold easily! For instance, today the high is 72, which was our big cold front last night. I have on long sleeves and jeans and am quite comfortable. Like I said, I'm doomed!

Well if you look at it that way, 40 deg. = 1 long sleeve shirt and your "florida weight" jacket, just add one more shirt and some long underwear and you should be fine.
I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama
