hawkflight 0 #1 November 24, 2003 Hello all , I( did my AFF1 yesterday while there are no true words to explain the exprience I will say this....i felt very significant and hopelessly insignficant at the same time!!! It was euphoric!!!!......I had a little trouble with my arch and tumbled a bit before my jumpmasters got me stable....after that it was all good....I was altitude aware and preformed my practice throws then threw the pilot for real the canopy was surprisingly easy to control and I followed my landing pattern perfectly and did an easy step down landing....I don't know what I enjoyed most the intense feeling of freefall....or the utter peacefullness and calm of the canopy ride.....I wish I could think of the words to explain it but there relly are none.......But you all know what i'm talking about..................Tom............................... hawkflight 0 #5 November 24, 2003 Duhhhhh....sorry the pilot chute I knew that i swear I really did...lol...............Jim and Doug were my instuctors....when we left the plane I did not turn towards the wind like i should have and began to tumble but Jim hung tight and got me stable and the rest of the jump went great!....I'll have to work on that exit and arch ...It kinda sucked I really wanted to do good...I paid attention in class and thought i was ready it's a good excuse to jump agin real soon though.....Tom............................... Jim can hold on tight land make everything right lol. Doug is a great guy too....he taught me ground school. One good jump deserves another. Coming out this weekend? CONGRATS!!!
