bkeul 0 #1 April 9, 2011 I'm trying to figure out which audible altimeter to buy and I have a Mac computer. Pro track works only with PC but it can be used with Paralog, but I would still have to buy the Jumptrack software just to get the cable right? Is the Neptune the same way? I know there has to be other Mac users out there. What do you suggest?
tazsz 0 #2 April 9, 2011 I use a Alti-2 N3, it connects with a USB cable You can use it with paralog on a mac I believe you can also do the firmware upgrades with paralog
sundevil777 102 #3 April 10, 2011 You could get the protrack cable and interface by itself, just call them and work it out.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
kingbunky 3 #4 April 10, 2011 N3 + OSX + Paralog = updating firmware requires windows however. see if you can find an AFS at your DZ, or find a copy of windows and use bootcamp on your mac for the occasional flash. sarah_fishcakes 0 #5 April 11, 2011 If you want to use a pro track you can use paralog and buy just the cable here: http://www.chutingstar.com/newgear_en/pro-track-hardware-computer-connection.html

They sell one on Chutingstar but it's 30 bucks which is kinda steep. You can probably find one on Amazon for 5-10 bucks. (and make another jump
