BikerBabe 0 #1 November 23, 2003 Woohoo! I made my first two jumps today since I broke my femur! I feel INCREDIBLE! Now I'm sitting here at the Bombshelter in Perris and unwinding after a cold and windy day. I can't wait to jump more!!!!Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!

lewmonst 0 #3 November 23, 2003 Sweet!!! Good for you! I'm so jealous!!! I should be cleared to do what i want (jump) here soon. If I hadn't of had that little crack in my pelvis I would have been walking (and jumping) much sooner... So how is the leg btw? did you stand up your landings/run/slide in what? peace lewhttp://www.exitshot.com
flyangel2 2 #4 November 23, 2003 Great news. Be careful and don't push it.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey

akarunway 1 #6 November 23, 2003 It took me 10 mths after I femured in. Anybody know what the average is? And how many don't come back?I hold it true, whate'er befall; I feel it, when I sorrow most; 'Tis better to have loved and lost Than never to have loved at all. (they turned it on this weekend, by the way...but no flying yet). Lew, I was planning on doing butt slides, but it is so windy here this weekend that I ended up just sitting. Of course I picked the windiest weekend yet to come do this! LOL. Only made 3 jumps total, but it was worth it, if anything to let me know what I need to work on. See you all around!
