Fast 0 #30 November 23, 2003 The avatars don't update because your computer already has the image file in its cache, and when you change an avatar HH does not give the new file a new filename. When you goto the page the computer starts looking for files it has already to save load time. One of them is the old avatar, so it doesn't ask the server for a new one. Eventually the file expires and the server gets a refresh and the avatars change. I'm not saying that HH should rewrite it to make every avatar change have a new number associated with it, just thats why I would guess it doesn't work.
