skysprite 0 #1 November 22, 2003 What do you put on... well, I guess it's kind of like carpet burn, except I didn't get it from a carpet? I got it in the oddest places, but mostly elbows, knees and a few places on my feet. *whine*~skysprite
taln1rigr 0 #2 November 22, 2003 Aloe is known for its healing properties but can dry out the boo-boo making it hurt worse before it gets better. But maybe you could use it in conjunction to some lanolin which is a humidifying protector. Bunches of cosmetics & lotions have lanolin as an ingredient but some of the best stuff is made for boobies. It's called Lansinoh {{reading the tube ... Lansinoh Brand Lanolin, the world's purest lanolin, soothes heals & protects ....}} It's made for breast feeding mothers so it can be found at Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, etc in the baby/breast feeding section. Hope you feel better soon.

I was trying to look around my apartment to see what I had, but being a [young and invinsible] student, I don't seem to have anything like that. heh The only thing I can find that has aloe in it is: 1% hydrocortisone anti-itch creme with aloe. Maximum strength for skin irritations. For the temporary releif of itching associated with minor skin irritations, inflammation and rashes due to: eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, insect bites, poison ivy, oak, sumac, soaps, detergents, cosmetics, jewelry. Do you think this would help at all? Thanks for your reply by the way, I appreciate it. ~skysprite

skysprite 0 #6 November 23, 2003 They didn't hurt last night, but found a few marks on my back this morning, which is odd considering the nature of how I got them. No, not in an automobile.~skysprite

skysprite 0 #8 November 23, 2003 By the way, it is unlikely you guys could ever guess it without beaucoup hints or me just telling you. It was completely innocent. But just to make it sound not so innocent, there was in fact a lot of bouncing, sliding, and numerous other participants. ~skysprite

skysprite 0 #14 November 23, 2003 QuoteYou AND the team were at Mc Donalds in the playland crashing a seven year olds birthday party! Bullies!! Okay, do tell! We were crashing a seven year old BRUIN's birthday party! Okay not really. Last night was Save Tommy Night. SC puts on this night every year the night before the USC-UCLA game because UCLA has a history of doing stuff to our Tommy Trojan statue; such as flying in a helicopter to drop paint on him, I think once they dropped manuer, as well as I was told once they removed Tommy's sword and reattached it somewhere else... in the back of the statue. So the school and student clubs has this huge party around the statue at the center of campus, and last night they brought in a bunch of air inflated toys; sumo wrestling, gladiator jousting, etc. I got these burns on the air blow up slide in which if you do it right you generally bounce about half way down. It's fun, but about half the way through the night we decided to jump, tumble, etc down, sometimes with mutliple people. *shrug* Dumb drunk kids. Except I wasn't drunk. Does that just make me dumb? Anyway it was a pretty fun, non alcoholic night. They also brought in lots of bands and other live entertainment. Had a "Beat the Bruins" booth in which they got Bruin pinatas for us to beat up. Had one of those climbing walls, as well as that thingy where you're in a harness and get to jump and do a bunch of flips. lol Nothing happened to Tommy, and today we got a 47-22 victory over UCLA. ~skysprite
