Slappie 9 #5 November 19, 2003 Whoa! That's sad right here in the Houston area.. "Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them."

INSANEDADDY 0 #7 November 19, 2003 Thanks for the clicky....There have been a lot of crash lately. I went and saw the debris from the plane that crashed at the air show. It was right on the side of Clear Lake City Blvd. They were picking up the fuselage with a crane. It was sad knowing that someone had just lost their life. kevin922 0 #8 November 19, 2003 damn i'm interested in knowing what happened there.. i think i saw that company profiled on tv once.. that sucks. for some reason this seems like a "bird-dogging" flight gone bad.. just like with wingsuit swooping you're traveling within close proximity of another object.. you shouldn't make it so close that these types of things can happen of course I don't know what happened, just saying what first thoughts are. pilotdave 0 #9 November 19, 2003 Oh man this could ground all the T-34s for a loooong time. It doesn't sound to me like the planes hit. It sounds like a wing spar failure. Same thing happened to another similar company a while back. The planes are flown within their limitations, but since they're pulling Gs more often then "normal" T-34s, it's causing the spars to fatigue (I'm just assuming thats the cause here). This one's gonna cost the T-34 owners a LOT of money I bet. Dave
TribalTalon 0 #10 November 19, 2003 i was at the airshow when that wildcat crashed.. i volunteered so after the airshow we were all chillin at the VIP tent and we all saw the plane stall and go in. i gotta tell ya though, there are worse ways to go, then goin down in flames doing something you love. *shrugs*
INSANEDADDY 0 #11 November 20, 2003 I totally agree. Thats why skydiving does not scare me. I am not afraid to die. There is a line in Point Break "Its not a crime to die doing something you love" What does scare me is dieing from cancer or slipping in the shower or something really stupid like that. I have a friend who's mom had this really rare cancer that she fought for 5 years. She finally beat the fucking cancer. One day while cooking she was cuting up veggies and cut her hand. The blood medication caused her to bleed real bad. She passed out and hit her head and died. Very sad. I dont think I am going to die from skydiving. It will be from something like slipping in the freaking shower or something. You dont't get to choose how you're going to die.
