1. homophobes, racists, chauvinists, and fanatics

2. people who mix up homonyms (there, they're and their, to, too, two, accept, except, which and witch, etc.) what can I say, I taught English for a year, and this drove me NUTS!

3. people who continue insist that they're right when they have absolutely no evidence to back up their point of view and are faced with overwhelming evidence to the contrary. (not asking for an admission that they're wrong, just an acknowledgement that being wrong is a possibility).

That Washington state STINKS as far as Autism research and treatment are concerned. -Maybe too heavy a topic for this forum, but I have 6 year old identical twin boys with Autism and it fries me that Autism is reaching ridiculous levels in this country and yet all the money still goes to MS and MD and Downes and every other freakin' thing...not that those are unworthy causes, but my babies deserve a race for a cure too... I'm moving to Cally!!

I agree! Autism is becoming a major problem and not nearly enough research is being funded!

hmm... I wonder if we could organize some kind of jump or boogie or something to raise money for autism research?
