Icarus021 0 #1 November 17, 2003 Lets say you have 3 canopies, 2 of which are unpack and in your gear bag. You have to take a leave of absence from the dz and you figure since the history of the dz is so good that you leave your gear there. then the next thing you know.... One comes up missing and nobody seems to know where it is at. So if anyone hears anything weird about a Cobalt 120 competition being ripped off, let me know. I guess since mine was the first canopy that has been ripped off from that dz i guess i owe a case of beer.......... 3-2-1-cya Don't take life too serious, you will never get out alive! Harksaw 0 #2 November 17, 2003 Register with stolen gear databases, make sure everyone knows to look out for anyone jumping it, and file a police report. I know how much it sucks to have something stolen like that.__________________________________________________ I started skydiving for the money and the chicks. Oh, wait. DJatLarge 0 #3 November 17, 2003 I think someone at the DZ owe's you the case of beer, since you already lost a rig.
Designer 0 #4 November 17, 2003 Sorry dude!Ya just know the extended time you decide to leave your rig at the DZ,is when the place is gonna burn down!Kinda like trusting a close friend with your rig while your out of town only to have the first jump back made on it be a "Malfunction"! Lee03 0 #5 November 17, 2003 Ashamed.. I'd suggest exactly what Harksaw said to do.-------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule
