Vertifly 0 #2 November 14, 2003 Great pic by the way. Best birthday I had was nothing special. Just at my house when turning the age of 12. We had all of my friends over for a party. There were enough of us to play an actual game of soccer. The most memorable part about it was that I felt lucky to have enough friends to do that. That must sound silly. Divorced just 20 days before and trying to adjust to my new life and thinking my family was upset with me for leaving Mr Perfect.....I was pretty bummed out that evening. My doorbell rang and my mom, dad and Sis and her family and my daughters had all shown up on my doorstep for my first ever surprise party, complete with cake, snacks, balloons and flowers and gifts. This year was pretty good too. Took my cousin (also a pilot) flying to some lakes nearby.. great scenery... a sunset flight and dinner at a neat place that treats pilots like royality by taking them in the back door and seating them right away vs the minimum hour wait for non-pilots... Amazon 7 #5 November 14, 2003 16th Mom got me a car my very very first car.. Uncle Archie was in charge of "helping". Mom would not let me have the 1966 Barracuda I REALLY wanted. Uncle made sure I got a nice BIG SAFE car. 1963 Impala SS with 409 and 4 speed Uncle Archie ROCKED.
