JustaBill 0 #1 November 13, 2003 As a train engineer this is one of the scariest things we deal with, people either not looking or completely ignoring railroad crossing protection. I wasn't involved in this wreck but I come close to killing someone everytime I go to work. Basically I guess I'm asking everyone to be a little more careful around the railroad and above all else PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, DON'T GO AROUND THE GATES. The preceding was a public service announcement on behalf of railroaders everywhere, we will now return you to your regularly scheduled program http://www.wndu.com/news/112003/news_22638.php------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
FeMike 0 #2 November 13, 2003 Who do you work for? I was a Chief Dispatcher in San Bernardino for the BNSF but I exercised my seniority and am moving back to Ft. Worth as a Dispatcher. Being in management sucks! Mike
JustaBill 0 #3 November 13, 2003 transportation isn't much better. At least dispatchers get a day off. Only way I can get time off is to cut out sick. Hell they won't even let me use my personal days. Makes it tough to get AFP and then any other jumping done------------------------------------------------ I've done so much, with so little, for so long I'm now expected to do everything with nothing forever
