The nixie clock ROCKS! (almost built a real one - still have the project notes - B|).

Where did you get the clock applet?! :D

Neat stuff, eh? A real Nixie clock is a little pricey though...

I'm very relieved that I'm not the only non-windows desktop. ;)

This is FreeBSD 5.1-CURRENT with Gnome2 and a couple Eterm terminal windows (enlightened terminals)
