Canuck278 0 #1 November 5, 2003 What is the absolute dumbest thing you have seen someone do or have done yourself? Mine is 2 very drunk sailors from my ship.....on a U.S. base..........in the mid east........steal a Humvee...without getting shot.... Steve Therapy is expensive, popping bubble wrap is cheap. Darius11 12 #2 November 5, 2003 Decided to out run the police and this was back when I lived in Iran. The police there shoot at you if you do not stop. I was fresh back from the US and was under the assumption that I had rights. Stacy 0 #7 November 5, 2003 OUr little Jimbo has himself a new crossfire2. he sort of misjudged his landing and ended up fighting for territory with a nice friendly emu. of course the part where the emu had his way with jimbo was another story all together.... __
RkyMtnHigh 0 #8 November 5, 2003 Tripped on a shoelace running UPhill and broke my wrist! happythoughts 0 #11 November 5, 2003 Stupidest? Boy, this covers a lot of ground... One of my fav ones... people are complaining about their openings to a packer around the fire. The packer and 2 friends had killed 2 bottles of vodka (ouch). There was an old telephone pole near the fire that had been cut down even at waist height. The packer went and got his rig, stood on the pole stump, and explained that their problems were body position. He then jumped, did a perfect arch, dumped his PC, and hammered into the ground. Here is the stupid part... someone walked up and asked what was going on. The packer got up on the stump and did it again.
RkyMtnHigh 0 #12 November 5, 2003 ONE MORE..I'm such a dufus! Have had a broken tailbone since February b/c like an idiot, we were drinking at a private "Hootie and the Blowfish" concert (company funded).. I had a bad attitude that day..said to a coworker "Ya know what I need..a swift kick in the ass!"...I didn't mean to say it OUTLOUD and I didn't mean it literally...but she took me literal and she went for it! I crawled back to my hotel room crying! She's still un-forgiven! Life with dependency for a DONUT under your rear SUCKS! and everyone knows what it's for... _________________________________________

vonSanta 0 #16 November 5, 2003 Doing Car SlingShot-ing with busted up cars on a friends farm. Basically one guy stands on the hood of the car while the other speeds it up and drives into something, catapulting the one standing into something else (possibly soft) stuff. I was 15. It was fun until both of us started to hurt. Santa Von GrossenArsch I only come in one flavour ohwaitthatcanbemisunderst

Dumpster 0 #18 November 5, 2003 Dumbest thing I've seen? When I was a young staff sgt. stationed at Griffiss I got a brand-new Airman assgned to me - His fist day on the base, he got drunk (underage no less) and started doing burnouts in a parking lot in the new Bitchin' Camaro his grandma gave him. (Spoiled white punk in the military story-) So, he sees the cops coming at him rolling red, and decides he can outrun them on Perimeter Road. Now mind you, Griffiss was a SAC base at the time, we had lots of B-52's with live nukes in the wings, and he was headed straight towards the Weapons Storage Area. By the time he got close, ( not even 2 minutes) there were two Humvees and several Peackeeper armored trucks blocking the road and a ton of weapons pointed in his general direction, along with several squads behind him. (The cops later admitted they over-reacted, but it was a good training opportunity.) He couldn't figure out how the cops knew he was coming. We had to remind him, he might be able to out-run the cop cars, but not a Motorola. He wound up under my charge for 45 days "additional duty" (Among lots of other disciplinary crap). I had him scrubbing warehouse floors with a toothbrush, literally, on Thanksgiving Day. Dumbest thing I've ever done? Getting married a second time! Easy Does It
WrongWay 0 #19 November 5, 2003 I knew a guy who got REALLY drunk, stole a golf cart from the golf course between our two towns (which are about 10 miles apart), and tried to drive it on the highway all the way back to my town. He rolled it off the side of the road, and needless to say, he got arrested very quickly. Wrong Way D #27371 Mal Manera Rodriguez Cajun Chicken Ø Hellfish #451 The wiser wolf prevails. mcrocker 0 #20 November 5, 2003 Hrmmm. As a kid... 1) standing on curb near my house waiting for cars to drive by so I can huck a fist full of rocks at them.... Not realizing that a shiny new trans-am was being driven by the football team.... Not realizing that it is summer time and the windows would be down.... Not realizing that a fist full of rocks hitting the football dude in the face would really piss him off. standing around in the same spot 1 minute later when the dude comes back and proceeds to chase me and my buddies through the woods. Good thing I knew the woods like the back of my hand. As a teenager.... 2) Riding my buddies hair trigger 3 wheeler down his driveway. At the end I see a car coming down the street. I tried to turn around but the hair-trigger throttle proceeded to wheely me infront of the car (near miss) and into a telephone pole. I got to see what my elbow joint looks like without the use of an X-ray As an adult .... 3) Forgetting to flare under a student canopy...Crashing in, ripping the tendons in my calf... In front of an 80 way dirt dive 4) Target fixation landing in the peas... Flaring waay to late ... Missing the peas and crashing into some VERY hard ground... .Breaking my tail bone .... One week before my 10 day bicycling ride around the south island of New Zealand. OUCH!

Blahr 0 #24 November 5, 2003 Dumbest thing I ever did was thinking "I'll just make one jump so I can say that I've done it" I was sure as hell better off financially before I made THAT decision
Blahr 0 #25 November 5, 2003 OK, now the real one. Standing up at the tailgate of a pickup truck to take a leak while the truck was going 40 mph down a bumpy back road. EXTREMELY drunk. Truck hit a bump and I was catapulted out of the truck. Separated my shoulder on landing. I've had surgery twice over the last 10 years and I no longer have an AC joint in my right shoulder. Just one in a VERY long list of dumb things I did while drunk. Also another in a long list of reasons why I no longer drink alcohol
