riggerrob 643 #3 May 24, 2011 Most wear problems are caused by stuffing the bridle too deep. Start by only tucking a handful under the top edge, just enough that you can tuck in the mid-flap. Then route the bridle straight across the flap. Close the bridle cover. Finally, don't stuff the bridle too deep under the lower tuck tab. If you tuck it too deep,it will chew the tuck tab. Better yet, update it with the newer bridle cover. If wear problems persist, sew a sacrificial layer of Type 3 (binding) tape along the suffering edge. Para evitar el desgaste por abrasión de la carpetilla de cierre (Flap) puedes coser una pieza Velcro hembra (El que no lleva gancho) que cubra y proteja la zona afectada, tanto en el lado interno como en el externo. Si, además, fabricas un trozo de velcro macho-hembra y lo colocas en la misma posición, podrás emplearlo como material fungible y reemplazable, teniendo solamente que realizar la pieza de velcro macho-hembra, sin tener que realizar trabajos de mantenimiento en el sistema de paracaídas. Se emplea en los tándems Next sin problemas por parte del fabricante del equipo.
