lego 0 #1 May 23, 2011 Last weekend I lost reserve PC cap of my Reflex. Getting new one from the manufacturer does not seem to be possible. Does anyone have the specs for the cap so I could ask a rigger to build me a new one? Or if anyone has a spare cap I'd be happy to buy it. -- legolego
skydiverek 63 #2 May 23, 2011 Would that be a TSO'ed part? Too heavy cap for instance would diminish reserve PC performance, for sure.
GLIDEANGLE 1 #3 May 23, 2011 It appears that this may be a source for Reflex parts. See the link to replacement parts on the left. http://www.tridenthc.com/catapult.htm Caveat emptor! The choices we make have consequences, for us & for others!
lego 0 #4 May 23, 2011 Thanks, but I already tried that. The e-mail address there doesn't work, and according to some earlier posts in this forum neither does the phone.lego

mjosparky 4 #7 May 24, 2011 I believe that the rights to Reflex were bought by Ray Ferrell and he re-TSO’d it as the Viper under Trident Harness & Containers Inc. This will give you an email adddress and a phone number. riggerrob 643 #8 May 24, 2011 I have built a few replacement (cosmetic) caps for Reflexes. The key is to start with the same diameter - as the original, then layer on Cordura, foam, ballistic cloth. Sew a "sleeve" of para-pack around the edge and bind the skirt. The biggest challenge is determining the correct length for the bungee cord. If anyone tells you it is easy ... laugh in their face!!!!
