How do you take liberties at work?

Recommended Posts

Personally, I make liberal use of their franked mail and envelopes. Of course I always use my office phone for personal calls. I write most of my personal letters on work time, on work paper, using the work printer, and do all of my photocopying here. I try to do most of my dumps at work whilst of course making good use of the excellent Poo-Timer you can find on line. Finally, and probably most detrimentally, I Post-Whore on here all day long.

Ok, so I’m blatantly not the worst abuser... to that end I was just wondering just who is the worst abuser of work time and money? What do you lot get for free curtsey of an unknowing boss?

My boss recently announced that he didn't want to know how I filled my days, as long as I kept on 'delivering what the client wants'
Post whoring is a right, not an abuse of trust in my opinion.....B|
Downloading loads of vid via a fast internet connection, then burning it to CD on works time is one major perk.
I cut my hair on work time, cos it grows on work time!
I eat on work time, cos I get hungry on work time!
etc.....B|

You should be ashamed. I would never even think about wasting my work time post whoring, using the copier, making personal calls, shopping, playing online games, etc.... :P

I don't smoke, so I don't cost the company "smoke breaks". Plus I don't spend half my day hacking up my lungs in fits that resemble seizures and leave me unable to type. So I figure my postwhoring, copying, and e-mail is actually saving the company money over them hiring a smoker, or my picking up the habit, which would be within my rights. And that is just one example. If I have to, I can show a ROI for myself that will prove how I singlehandedly contribute the vast majority of our company's earnings. :P
