greybeard 0 #1 October 30, 2003 Give me a big fucking break and please moderate this kind of crap out of the forum. I define myself as me. period. Not where i live, not where my parents lived, not were my uncle fred used to live. Who the hell really cares what my uncle fred used to believe in, much less his great, great, great, ancesteral great, great, uninformed, illiterate, third world folk. This is a sore spot for me, obiously. Anybody who declares themselves to be somebody or anybody other than just themself, bases on some preconcieved or preordained attatchment to something or somestuff. Weak, weak. Grab your ass with both hands and stand up straight. You are you, and only you! No crutches, no support, no nothing but you. How does that feel? Naked, ... good! Go forth and be you. I will respect you for being you. I will never respect you for being a 'Masson, or a Morman, or a catholic, or a black, or jew, or a whatthefuckever! dove 0 #2 October 30, 2003 The beautiful thing about people is our diversity. Some people define themselves by what they do for a living, how they worship, where they live, what they do for fun, or all of the above. Just because I relate to a group of skydivers doesn't mean I define myself by that group alone. I might also belong to a group of artists or 30-somethings or what have you. It is natural to strive for some type of connection. And being a part of one group doesn't in any way disrespect those in other groups. I am a freeflier, but I have RW friends. I also have whuffo friends. My guess is the person who started the Jewish thread was just looking for a connection with others. Not looking to exclude those who aren't Jewish. Let's not always be so quick to assume the worst. Fall in dove.
greybeard 0 #3 October 30, 2003 You are absolutely correct. Sorry that my trigger got pulled. I've always thought that those who exspouse there collective group, were weak and actuacly very racists. They always say 'we are against racisim' , ( read ; racism against us),as they stand under their own racist banner. I be me, you be you. Individualism means One person at a time. dove 0 #4 October 30, 2003 Hehe. I hear ya. I used to say that I am only racist against those who practice racism. I like that - I be me. You be you. Fall in dove.

freeflir29 0 #6 October 30, 2003 "All fucking Niggers must fucking hang." - Full Metal Jacket Look at that statement closely. Especially in context of the movie. You had an Alabama (I think) redneck and a black guy thrown together in an infantry unit in Vietnam. They trusted each other with their lives...........yet......those OLD prejudices were still there but only as a novelty. There's a lesson to be learned there........ Or just curious.Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
sundevil777 102 #10 October 30, 2003 It was his first post on the day he registered...People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
tbrown 26 #11 October 30, 2003 I once knew a skydiver in New England who had a Star of David with a parachute tattooed on his arm with the words "Jumping Jew". We all thought it was pretty cool. Your humble servant.....Professor Gravity !
greybeard 0 #12 October 30, 2003 Sangerio, I am me. I am positive and proud of me. I am so comfortable with myself that I am able to respect you. Think about that statement for a while. Amazon 7 #16 October 30, 2003 QuoteThe individualists are also a herd. Americans claim to be such individualists.... when in point of fact... most are subject to a herd mentality far more ingrained than most of the world... Everyone wants to be "normal" Malls look the same EVERYWHERE... Strip malls are worse... Fast food is the bane of existence.. in even small towns in rural america.... if you get a McDonalds.. you know your town is worthy of survival...and will not become a dusty ghost town with 5 people over the age of 70 as the only residents....FAshion.... whats "trendy".. whats "hot"... whats the coolest toy.. for this christmas...its one vast homogeneous herd mentality. Everyone repeat after me....... MOOOOOOOOOOO
