lawrocket 3 #1 October 24, 2003 Tomorrow is my one-year anniversary for dz.com. I'm wondering who's been here the longest, and how you found out about this site? I remember wanting to learn more about Shannon Embry and I found this site. I've been hooked ever since. And thanks, head honcho! Everybody Click here!!! My wife is hotter than your wife. skybytch 273 #2 October 24, 2003 IIRC I started posting here around December of 2000. I lurked a bit prior to that. I haven't been here as long as some other people have. I have been here longer than most people have. Sangiro has been here the longest.
skymama 37 #3 October 24, 2003 QuoteSangiro has been here the longest. He's had 23,000 registed users since then. It kind of gives new meaning to "if you build it, they will come"! I'm a little over 2 1/2 years here. I flirted with Sangiro on my second post ever...go figure. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon

PLFKING 4 #5 October 24, 2003 Only 4 months older than Lisa.....August 2000. Found this site the day after my first jump.....I was looking for someone to talk to about the whole thing, since my friends all thought I was nuts. This site kept me sane, and convinced me I wasn't crazy.Don"When in doubt I whip it out, I got me a rock-and-roll band. It's a free-for-all."

PLFKING 4 #7 October 24, 2003 QuoteDamm.. I though this site was doing great things in dispelling myths... It does. For instance...did you know that Canadians were banned from joining until March of 2001 ? Now look at how far we've come.....one has been appointed to Moderator status. This ain't no damn democracy, but it's close. Don"When in doubt I whip it out, I got me a rock-and-roll band. It's a free-for-all."

SkymonkeyONE 4 #11 October 24, 2003 I believe the registration dates that are shown are those from the last evolution of the site. I have been on the site for quite a long time, but I think my registration shows sometime in 2001, that is entirely false. Anyway, I have been active for the last three evolutions of the site. AndyMan 7 #13 October 24, 2003 I believe I started posting in late 1999, about when I started jumping. Back then, you could read all the new posts in all the forums in about an hour. My profile lists 2001 as my registration date. Most people don't know that there was a major revision to DZ in 2001, and we all had to reregister. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead. RevJim 0 #20 October 24, 2003 This user name? Since Sept 10th, 2002, when I decided it was easier to use my real name instead of my old username. So, just over one year, and 3,200 posts later. Damn, I'm such a whore. iskydiveto was my old username, registered Feb 27, 2001, 7:01 AM, with 253 posts (and still has my Pink Sabre avitar). My old user name I started using when I got a computer back in late 98. I used it as my Yahoo email, and shortly after found this site. I didn't post much, but did register as soon as i found the place. I started jumping in late summer 98, and got web access at that time too. That was the time that the heavy migration started away from rec.skydiving. I got to know people on both places at that time, and those roots keep me firmly in both places. Luckily, a few have gradually started posting here, like bozo, but some, well, are a bit too controversial, like Treetop and Peanut4040.It's your life, live it!
