If it is a Dual Hawk cutaway handle it looks like either it is made backwards or the photo is reversed. Otherwise I have no idea, I don't have one for comparison. Is the black thingy a pull-up cord? (I wouldn't store one there.)

Dokeman 0 #4 June 6, 2011 looks backwards.. the finger pocket should be on the other side?

It should have passed quality control, than inspection and assembly and only the 3rd, more experienced tandem master found the fault. QuoteIs the black thingy a pull-up cord? (I wouldn't store one there.) Yes, that is a black pull-up cord for visual emphasize, so it was there only for this picture.

Strong Enterprises receives ISO 9001: 2000 and AS9100 Certification 7 April 2006 That means there could be lot more than one faulty cut-away pillow out there..... ISO 9001 does not mean that your product is flawless, but equally faulty under certain limits....

RiggerLee 61 #9 June 7, 2011 I don't recall exactly how it's sewn but try turning it inside out and see if it looks as clean that way. It might fliped the wrong way when they stuffed it. rinaldi524 0 #10 June 7, 2011 Lee is correct. It's just simply inside out. It could have happened in any number of ways but just push the handle in and flip it back. Any questions call me at Strong.
