nzdan 0 #1 June 10, 2011 Does anyone jump a Tonfly Uno 620 suit. Looking for any feedback, the 2 reviews in the gear section leave allot to the imagination. The 618 looks great but I need something a little slower. Thanks nzdanChildren in the dark cause accidents, accidents in the dark cause children. DSE 5 #2 June 10, 2011 I do. I have a 620 and a 618. One fast, one slow. Used for AFF and fun jumping. SUPER solid suit, very tough. http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/168803_1680246839348_1032868837_1858975_2816752_n.jpg one of my coaching students wearing my 620 Me with the 620 618 with a very large student
antonija 0 #3 June 11, 2011 I own Uno.620. It's a great suit, fits really well.I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense. -David Thorne
nzdan 0 #4 June 11, 2011 Thanks for the reply, i'm 6'2" and 210lbs. Do you think it would be slow enough for me? nzdanChildren in the dark cause accidents, accidents in the dark cause children.
antonija 0 #5 June 13, 2011 I don't measure myself in apostrophes so I wouldn't know I'm 185cm tall (sounds big, doesn't it? ) and weigh 90 kg (sounds slim, doesn't it? ). My sitfly jumps have avg speed (neptune2 speed) around 220-230 km/h when jumping with (very) slim people. I understand the need for conformity. jurn 0 #6 June 16, 2011 I got a 620. Great suit so far. It's a slow suit if you know how to fly slow. It gives a lot of drag on the legs and arms. I'm a pretty heavy guy, but i have no problems jumping with the skinny guys and girls at the DZ. I opted for the double cordura option on the legs and arms for the extra drag. It gives a lot of power, but makes the suit pretty warm, especially in the tunnel.
antonija 0 #7 June 19, 2011 How does uno.620 do in tunnel? I'm planning on using it to learn/improve my freeflying, which will include some dragging on the net... Is the suit built well enough to take this kind of punishment or will I tear it apart on the net?I understand the need for conformity.
