chopchop 0 #1 October 15, 2003 I will be in Nashville Saturday Nov. 1st doing a little work and should be done around noon.. After which, I am free until Monday morning when I have to be on the north side of Atlanta.. Where do I head off to for jumping Saturday afternoon and then again on Sunday? I am clueless but I have jumped in Rome, GA before.. Is there anything closer and on the way? Or something out of the way but just sooo much fun it's worth it? Is there a Holloween boogie I gotta be at?? chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. Lotsa Pictures
mouth 0 #2 October 15, 2003 Have I got the deal for you...Skydive Atlanta in Thomaston, GA has their FreeFly Festival that weekend. Lots of food, alcohol, cool peeps, dj's, alcohol, oh and skydiving too. I believe there will be coaching and organizing too. I'll be there so it will so be worth the drive; however, I cannot promise you'll be in ANY shape to deal with work on Monday morning. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit. Nutz 0 #3 October 15, 2003 I think Tullahomah is right off I24. They supposedley have a "Westwind Beech". I've never jumped there so I don't know what it is like. http://www.tennskydive.com/ Edit to add: Thomaston sounds pretty good too!
chopchop 0 #4 October 15, 2003 Thomaston sounds awesome.. and i did my AFF level one there 3 years ago today.. BUT! it's 5 hours from Nashville.. so.. I wouldn't get there in time for skydiving on Saturday.. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. Lotsa Pictures

bmcd308 0 #9 October 15, 2003 Come down earlier and get your work done so you can come to WTS and jump with me, jlmiracle, chriswelker, drakeshelby, and other Memphis folks on Saturday instead of working. Unfortunately, WTS is the opposite direction to get to Atlanta from Nashville, although there is a big Atlanta dropzone that is only 20 minutes or so from Memphis (directions available on their site). chopchop 0 #10 October 15, 2003 Hey Brent.. that sounds like fun.. I can't change my schedule, though.. How long a drive from Nashville to WTS? chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. Lotsa Pictures
bmcd308 0 #11 October 15, 2003 It is a solid two and a half hours. You would take 40 West past Jackson then cut over to Somerville, so you'd be driving almost all the way to Memphis. The weekend you'll be here Mullins will be in Wichita, so we'll be jumping a Cessna 195. And I was kidding about Atlanta being 20 minutes away. Atlanta is a solid five hours and maybe a little more from here. We'd love to have you, though. chaoskitty 0 #12 October 15, 2003 Hey ChopChop! I live in Nashville, and I jump in Tullahoma, TN. Tullahoma is about an hour Southeast of Nashville, and directly on your way to Atlanta. We have a Westwind Beech, and we are a fun group of jumpers. Come jump with us on Saturday and Sunday, and then you'll only be three hours from Atlanta when youre ready to be on your way. I'll even let you jump with ME.. and from what I understand, ALL dz.commers want to do that! jk c'mon down. I'll see ya there. PM me for directions. chopchop 0 #13 October 15, 2003 OK Kristi.. that seems like the most convenient.. I was just a little worried when I looked at the website and there was something about a DC-3 coming soon.. in January 2000... So.. good.. it's close enough.. it's on the way, they fly a Beech and there are cool people to jump with.. See ya 11/1. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. chaoskitty 0 #14 October 15, 2003 Well we have a dc-3, but he lacks some engines so we dont fly him. Looks like its been a while since the website was updated. I dont even know some of the people listed as staff. Looking forward to jumping with you!
