stayhigh 2 #26 July 3, 2011 I see this all the time, newbies with brand new safire crashing in all the time, due to longer steering line settings. Pd makes theirs too short And i carus tend to make em tad bit too long. But once you start inducing some speed, you'll find that even icarus standard settings are too short imo.Bernie Sanders for President 2016
virgin-burner 1 #27 July 3, 2011 i got 23-inch risers on my safire2 and only flare down to the hips; otherwise i'll stall it..“Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. virgin-burner 1 #29 July 4, 2011 i kinda like it that way; and since i'm used to it, i'll just keep them that way. there's also enough slack in them to frontriser, it's all good.. “Some may never live, but the crazy never die.” -Hunter S. aeroflyer 0 #30 July 4, 2011 The pilot opens really nicely on heading unless you pack it badly. It always seems to open soft I've only had one snappy opening not hard, just quicker than normal and that was when I threw the PC real hard. I find the flare to be okay but it's different from the PD canopies.
