prepheckt 0 #3 October 14, 2003 Anyone know where I can find a strong bad costume?I'd like to do a jump in it too, so it can't be one of those cheap ones you find in a store, freefall would rip it apart."Dancing Argentine Tango is like doing calculus with your feet." -9 toes
misskriss 0 #4 October 14, 2003 I do love it too. It seems the neighborhoods go all out just like they do for Christmas. I admit that I have a giant lit pumpkin looking out of one of my windows in the front of the house.....plus a witch by the front door.... the real pumpkins on the haystacks that I bought The kids already have their costumes.....I have one ringwraith (sp) from LOTR, and a gothic witch. The oldest doesn't dress up. I am going to be Miss Understood with tiara and everything
AggieDave 6 #5 October 14, 2003 Halloween is a BIG deal to me. Love it. I'm not into that "cut kids trick or treating" thing either. I like the dark side of Halloween. prepheckt 0 #6 October 14, 2003 Hey Aggie, when you jumped that pumpkin, what did you do with it? I can't seem to remember you letting go of it, because of a safety involved? How did you handle deployment?"Dancing Argentine Tango is like doing calculus with your feet." -9 toes
AggieDave 6 #7 October 14, 2003 I held it on my head, and pulled. I couldn't really look up to see the main, but it felt like it was ok, so I went with it. Landed with the pumpkin on too (well, sorta landed, I couldn't see real well, so I sorta biffed a bit, but nothing major, no scraps or anything. The pumpkin sat around the hanger for the rest of the day, then we smashed it that night. Really stupid for jump #30, though... You know...I think the pumpkin is going to fly again here in a very short time.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
