Sebazz1 2 #1 October 6, 2003 http://www.reximage.com/paul/ I did a few of his AFF jumps. This kid was something special. It's just not fair sometimes. If you know him or met him at Hollsiter or at the Byron boogie send him and his family some good wishes. He really needs some love right now... He was in a bad landing accident at Lodi this past Saturday.
r2hubert 0 #2 October 6, 2003 I did a coach jump with him so he can do his transition from ripcord. We were all very affected and sad to hear this sad news Saturday night. I wish him every thing he needs for a fast recovery, and lots of though for his family. -- Renaud SMA #9 "Mind is like parachute. It only functions when it's open." skybabe76 0 #3 October 6, 2003 Unfortunately, I heard some very disturbing news about this incident. Remember, this is ONLY WHAT I HEARD, NOT BELIEVE: Paul was trying to "one-up" some experienced jumpers by "showing them how to land" in our swoop pond at Lodi. From what I understood, Paul has only 40+ jumps and is not even close to being at the experience level of landing in our swoop pond. I hope, for Paul's sake, that this is not true and he will never attempt this again. Lodi is my home and I have almost 200 jumps and I would never dream of swooping that pond. Best wishes to his family and friends. "If you're going to be stupid, you better be tough!"

TheAnvil 0 #5 October 6, 2003 Just talked with Kath a bit ago and Paul is hurting in a major way. Everyone should say a prayer for Paul because he's going to be lucky to live, given the severity and extent of his injuries. His parents have flown in from Canada and are with him now. Paul needs vibes more than all the rest of us combined.Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!! rehmwa 2 #13 October 6, 2003 Was there Friday. ChopChop is right, a lot of speculation and the like. I'd rather wait for an eyewitness account. KerMor 0 #19 October 7, 2003 I am sure that Paul has more than enough will power to go through this hard moment, he has already demonstrated it to us in his amazing progression acquiring skydiving skill. Get on well quickly Paul, I still have to do that sit fly with you.

They have been a great comfort to his family, and his mother has been reading Paul all the messages. This is the least we can do for one of our own. Rebecca 0 #25 October 7, 2003 Prayers are speeding their way to him and his family right now. Paul is obviously one of the bright shining ones- one of those people who naturally affects all around him in a positive way. I pray his strength, his family's love, and our prayers and support pull him through. I don't want us to lose another star. you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?
