TheAnvil 0 #90 September 18, 2003 Oh.....I meant CREEPER! CREEPERS! hehehehehehehe........ I just got some good/bad news. The good news is my brother (non-skydiver) is coming out here to Cali....the bad news is he's coming the weekend of the Byron Boogie and he's a non-skydiver. He'll only be here for a few days then he heads up to Fort Lewis and I'd wager to Iraq shortly thereafter. Plans are unsure right now, but we're probably going to Yosemite - not sure yet. At best I'll probably get to Byron for one or two jumps max. Thought about making sunset Saturday nite if we don't go to a big park camping, then do some partying with all of y'all. I was looking forward to the hedonism but am glad I get to see my brother for a bit - it's been a while. Maybe we'll see you Saturday nite. He looks almost like me, just not as ugly and his shoulders/chest aren't as big. He's a running fool - marathons and stuff. I have a close friend that I am visiting and staying with on Friday. She just told me that her and her husband have been talking about skydiving for a couple of years now. They both want to try it. I am floored!!! I was not expecting this. My friends probably cannot try their first jump now as they are financially strapped (They just bought a condo). I could tell that she was trying to find a way to do it, though!!! I actually talked her into waiting to jump when she can really afford it, instead of now. I was thinking that if she gets into it, she may be a goner... I am SOOOO happy that they are so into it!
