marcandalysse 0 #9 September 28, 2003 blood guts and tarentino's usual culture-pop stealing bullshitting narrative. just reading the opening pages showed it is more of the same.... i'm glad he releases new films rarely, so he stays out of the conversation for years at a time... a movie like usual suspects was far more interesting than resevoir dogs...10 minutes starting a film talking about Madonna song? Or 5 minutes talking about 'le royal' hamburgers? pop culture is so much more interesting in other screenplays I HIGHLY recommend watching Nick Nolte in "The Good Thief"....good heist caper, and the cultural references are subtle, but still has an edge...Check it out on dvd now....
