Brian425 0 #1 September 28, 2003 The weather would not co-operate today. I drove 2 hours to the DZ to watch the clouds go by, talk to some new friends and wish for the winds to die down. No student jumps today. I was hoping to get jump 8 in and possibly my solo. I will be back tomorrow afternoon; but, the weather does not look good. Can someone change the weather in Gardiner NY for me? There is a free case of beer in it for anyone who can bring me good weather. On a good note, I saw a friend who had come with me for her first tandem back up for her second tandem. She brought along 3 friends. I Li-Ju will continue. Money is the only issue for her. Li-Ju also had the absolute funniest tandem video I have ever seen. She looked very at easy and made some superman poses and fake boxed with the video guy. She seems to have more natural talent than me. I hope she sticks with it because she is fun to hang with and I need a buddy to help split the gas and tolls. (Yes I'm cheap) Have a good weekend, be safe and good weather for everyone!! The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand. skyflyeratwood 0 #2 September 28, 2003 I WAS AT THE RANCH TODAY!! :) YEAH! Not a great day to jump... made two gravity checks and winds were like a drunken woman.. Loud and unpredictable!! I also made some horrendous skydiving mistakes... I am an advanced-beginner too big for his shoes. It is a very bad thing to track under the plane!!!! I seem to be going backwards in my safety as my number of jumps increases! Sorry to all those that I pissed off.
