I don't regret the move but between work and school I don't have time to make friends and I miss my friends back home. Have you been to any of the local DZ's yet? Check out Deland...there are lots of people there that live in Daytona. I'll be out there tomorrow, and then probably spend the rest of the weekend in Sebastian(a bit longer of a drive for you, but not horribly long). I spent 2 years in Daytona, now in Orlando....I have to say, I like Daytona much better than Cincy! Mike
coconutmonkey 0 #11 September 26, 2003 For whining, the monkey recommends his '96 Baccus reisling or a nice Califonia Blush. yardhippie 0 #13 September 26, 2003 QuoteFor whining, the monkey recommends his '96 Baccus reisling or a nice Califonia Blush. If it's deep depression you're looking for, try a something red... yes but the reds have a tendency to remind you in the moring that you were "emotional". Better to go w/ a Rhine Valley reisling. Absotutely no hangover. coconutmonkey 0 #15 September 26, 2003 RHine???!!! How uncouth! Mossel Valley is much smoother for Reislings! If you're lucky you can find some upper Mossel, Nahe valley (rhinlendphaltz) stuff stateside. That's the real stuffHearts & Minds 2 to the Heart- 1 to the Mind- Home of the Coconut Lounge, Spa, & Artillery Range

VanillaSkyGirl 6 #18 September 26, 2003 I have a new skydiving friend that used to live in Ohio. He has been living on San Diego, but he is soooo homesick still. He misses all his friend in Ohio, too. It's hard to adapt to new environments sometimes. For you, Skydiverchick~ (((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))) and ((((((((((((((VIBES)))))))))))))))!!! Cheer up soon! Swett, but not cloyingly so. Oak overtones are good for French wines, but they give it a bit of body that required a food with some flavor to accompany them. A light reisling can make a night alone.Hearts & Minds 2 to the Heart- 1 to the Mind- Home of the Coconut Lounge, Spa, & Artillery Range
 Aviatrr 0 #22 September 26, 2003 Quoteaeronautical science fancy talk for I'm a pilot Ahh, so you've got the full 4 years ahead of you? Or did you start with some college credit already? I considered Riddle back in '93, but at that time you couldn't even start flying until in your Junior year....so I went elsewhere, got all ratings and a 2 year degree(plus 20 more credits) in 23 months..then finished the 4 year while instructing and flying freight. All in all, I must say...I'm happy with my career choice...I hope you enjoy it as well.
