I dunno, I'm not a lawyer. And I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night either.

Wouldn't you be a bit upset if someone used a logo that you put a lot of time, money and work into without asking permission, even if there was no profit motive?

Oh and don't get me wrong... I love the wording on the shirt!

I told them it was a one-off for my kid. I doubt they'll make a big deal about it. At worse, I'll send them whatever price they get for a t-shirt!

I'd buy three even if it wasn't Go Fast that runs with the idea. There's other t-shirt printers out there, but A Go Fast logo would look the coolest.

You did the right thing by sending it to them for consideration and I doubt anything will happen. Its not against the law to draft a "pitch" to an organization using their logo as long as your intent wasn't to deceive anyone into purchasing your product as theirs.

I would venture to say that they will respond with a thank you and/or acceptance or rejection of your idea.

It is a cool shirt and would probably sell well. If they adopt the idea, just tell them you're not looking for any remuneration. They'll probably send you some Go Fast "stuff."
