spedbus 0 #26 September 17, 2003 it seems to me that any place can be made a good bar so long as you are with the right people or the regulars are decent. in my experience the opposite is usually true as well in that a cool-looking bar can suck horribly without someone interesting to talk to...You'll lose speed, but keep altitude. It will look like you have a choice, speed or height, but either way you're still gonna nose-dive into the ground. -Chuck Palahniuk

AggieDave 6 #28 September 17, 2003 Quotewhat do you look for in a club, what does it have to have to make it a good place? Good country music, large dance floor, a good selection of possible dance partners, good drink prices and some other things. We have that here in town, called The Texas Hall of Fame. Good dance hall. Whats really cool is around Midnight on Thursday (the big go dancing night), they play the War Hymn (A&M's fight song), everyone goes to the dance floor takes their hats off (always do that when it plays) and sing the song. How many other schools have enough spirit that it runs over to random places like dance halls?--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
