HELP! Rig or Tunnel Camp?

Recommended Posts

I have a slight delema, There is a great rig for sale that is 1100. I want it badly because it is freefly friendly and is at a great price and fits. I also want to goto a tunnel camp that is also 1100. I have 20 jumps and my A license (just got it this weekend! yay) What do you guys think? tunnel camp, or rig?

Thanks for your input

I'm not very experienced and haven't been to a tunnel yet, but I think you would benefit from the rig more.

Oh, and congrats on your license!

Skydiving is easy. All you have to do is relax while plummetting at 120 mph from 10,000' with nothing but some nylon and webbing to save you.

Tough choice. But if it was me, and that's only my opinion, I'd go to tunnel camp. There's an exellent way to improve your skills and it's worth many many jumps equivalent.
On the other hand, if the rig is really that great... Have you have it checked by a rigger?

Not yet, But im sure its up to par, Its at my local dz and its being sold to by and instructor and the rigger checked it out as well. We put a new main in it too. pd 176 I think. or 170 not sure how the number system works for those. Anyways, its in excellent condition. Everyone I talked to including the rigger say its a great deal.

Peace

get the rig. B| the tunnel's not going anywhere. the rig will. the money you save from having to rent gear will fund a future tunnel camp if you so desire. the tunnel compliments skydiving...it's not a substitute. did i just say that? ;)

seriously, buy the rig.
