jtval 0 #1 September 14, 2003 by pc I mean computer. when I for some reason I dont get out put from my speakers unless I am, playing a CD in musicmatch. i cant play anything from my HD(hard drive) or from a movie clip.... I get vid but no sound. IT has to be on a cd to heat anything. WTF??? ber 0 #4 September 14, 2003 That seems a problem with the audio cable that connect directly your cdplayer to your soundcard. This cable function is to free your CPU to other tasks. Open your pc and plug/unplug the audio cable from the cdplayer(not the powercable 4pins, not the data cable lots of pins, but the audiocable 3/4 pins. This will not afect any other function of your pc, and you can re-change his status whenever you want. VERY IMPORTANT: disconect your pc from power before open it, im not saying turn it off, im saying unplug power cable before open the box.Ber --------------------------------- "Who Needs Oxygen Anyway?"
