rehmwa 2 #7 September 9, 2003 Mile hi skydive is pretty nice. I'm out that whole week and weekend with the wife and daughter. We probably won't jump though (Kim is a skydiver), we're going hiking and climbing instead. ... flyangel2 2 #9 September 10, 2003 Like Kellie said, most of us will be at Lamar. You may not like it much, they don't offer coed showersMay your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. At least you are comfortable around girls. I'm not comfortable around either.... And I swear my retinas are burned from all the boobies I was subjected to that weekend. But the skydiving rocked! ryoder 1,590 #11 September 10, 2003 I'll likely be at Mile-Hi that weekend. (Oh, and just for the record, I *DO* like coed showers.)"There are only three things of value: younger women, faster airplanes, and bigger crocodiles" - Arthur Jones.

rehmwa 2 #14 September 10, 2003 QuoteRehmwa, if you guys need any topos or trail info just holler and I can get that for you. See, this forum is great. Kelli - we're covered, my best friend from college lives in Lafayette (they do everything - climb hike, showshoe, .......) and another friend is a climbing instructor from Glen Haven. THANKS I'll PM some locals if I get a free day/evening. Also, if Mile-Hi jumps in the weekday evenings, I want to know, my work is less than a mile down the road. Anyone from Mile-Hi? ... flyangel2 2 #15 September 10, 2003 Call before you head out to Mile-Hi. It may just be there 206 for during the week, the King Air is down. I just got and e-mail from Frank, the DZO, and he has an Eloy Otter coming in to cover for the next three weeks. If the Otter is to fly during the week, even in the evening, there would have to be plenty of jumpers to fill it. Have fun. Are you sure you don't want to play with us in Lamar? I know, it's family time. You will so enjoy the climbing and hiking in the area. One of the reasons I live in Colorado, and don't spend every weekend at the DZ.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. CanuckInUSA 0 #17 September 10, 2003 QuoteWhat NO Denver people? I'm in the Denver area. What DZ were you thinking about visiting? Longmont (the best weather and landing area in the state ... IMHO), Brush (the best DZ party MOJO in the state), Calhan (the highest DZ in the country) or Canon City (a decent DZ what with them having a Caravan and a nice landing area)? I was thinking about attending the Lamar boogie, but if Mile-Hi will have access to an Otter, I may have to change my mind. Hey how come I didn't get that email? Is one of the Otters coming this weekend? I may have to alter my plans for this weekend a little. I told a friend who's about to start her AFF training in Brush that I'd be in Brush this weekend. But if an Otter is at Mile-Hi, hmmm ...
