BlueEyedMonster 0 #1 September 2, 2003 I don't see much here about it. Anyone else go? Did ya see my blue hair? ...it was hard to miss. Did ya all have as much fun as I did? Was I the only sober one there?

flyangel2 2 #3 September 2, 2003 Sorry, missed you But I had a great time. As for sober, I was in my tent by 10:00 p.m. every night. Wanted to be rested and ready for jumping at 8:00 a.m.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. BlueEyedMonster 0 #4 September 3, 2003 Yeah what is up with that evil thing... loud music and some guy on the speakers at 8am??? I would personally like to thank the un-named gentleman that cut the wire to the speakers by our tents.

Since I flew out in a small plane, I set my tent up next to where we tied down. Nice and quiet way out there. smooth 0 #7 September 3, 2003 I was there! Saw you and your blue hair. For a reference, I was on the "dick dive" with Aimee & Matt.
rbrcokflichk 0 #8 September 3, 2003 Ah yes, the "Big Dick Dive" I think I can blame anything that I do wrong this week on my equilibrium in-balance from that baby!!! Blue--sorry I lost it...I know you wanted to jump it...but of course I wanted to play first!!! Was a pretty good weekend none-the-less!!! Aimee
Malfunction 0 #9 September 3, 2003 Blue- I saw you walk past. I was in the packing tent Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and part of Monday. I chatted with Remwa at the loading tent a bit, he was lookin for a dz.com jump too. Raefordite said that only a handful of people showed up at the skykat tent. For the record, I met Angel, already knew Samurai and Maximus, met Remwa, met a couple people from Ks, although I cannot remember their names, and crossed paths with a few others too. But packing all weekend doesn't exactly lead to meeting a bunch of people. I too was in my tent by 10 every night. Just didn't feel like drinkin. If anyone made it to the beer truck, chances are you were less than 20 feet from my tent. I may disagree with what you have to say, but I shall defend to the death your right to say it. - Voltaire
rehmwa 2 #10 September 3, 2003 Met a great crowd of people. Missed the 60-way by 1 grip. Won the AA class of the NPSL. Got to camp with my teammates. Had an entire week with my wife, without my daughter. Argued with some guy in the showers about him not forcing his way into a shower when the women in the shower didn't want him in there. (Women - go ahead and comment about co-ed showers. My position - if you don't care, that's cool, but if you want to shower without men, they should respect that. Should they respect it or just state it's uptight and it's a boogie? I think the CFs will have more issues in the future on this one if they don't address it soon.) Even bought some stuff from Skykat (Looking in the mail for my new Z1). 26 jumps - pretty small, but the big ways ate up over a day in total. Best ever. ... Bill, I was so nice of you to stick up for us women that were in the shower the night there was a conflict. Gee, why don't some guys get the hint. NO, I do not want to shower with some guy at a boogie. It doesn't matter if I know him or not. Call me old fashion, but to me, sharing a shower with a person of the opposite sex is an intimate experience. That said, having to deal with that problem every time I wanted to take a shower, it's one of the things that will keep me away from Couch Freaks if the situation doesn't change.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. Raefordite 0 #12 September 3, 2003 Dude! Did you catch the thread in Events & Gatherings? I was trying to get a dz.com group together while at Couch Freaks. You know - sign up at the SKY KAT Tent!! I had a total of three people talk to me about doing it. Perhaps next year! So keep an eye on the Events & Gatherings before Couch Freaks next year and I will start another thread and try to get the dz.commers organized to a little fun in the air. Still had a blast. See you next year if not before.
